Bit Wise Controls has announced the appointment of Push Controls as a strategic distribution partner for the Australian region.

Bit Wise Controls has announced the appointment of Push Controls as a strategic distribution partner for the Australian region.

Bitwise chief executive Lance Beck says, “BitWise Controls changed distribution strategies in Australia to accommodate market demand for a value added sales approach to selling products that allow smart devices, like the iPad and iPhone, to be used and to control interfaces for audio and video equipment.

"The popularity of these smart devices is creating a paradigm shift in the way consumers want to control their electronics and it is important that our distribution strategy includes partnership with industry leaders in each of the local markets."

Vice president of sales Ron Pitcock Jr stated, “Push Controls makes it easy for integrators to purchase and install our products and offer our clients a world class look and feel for the interface that appears on their iPhone or iPad. We are very pleased that Push has stepped up and taken responsibility of distribution in Australia and look forward to helping them in the market”.

Push Controls managing director Ben Green added, “We are excited to extend our current partnership with Bitwise to include sales and distribution of the product range under the Push Controls banner. This opportunity will allow us to offer a full supply, service and support facility to ensure that cost effective home automation solutions become a reality in the Australian marketplace.”

Push Controls plans to launch a complete Channel Partner Support Program that will include a National Training Roadshow following the official launch at the CEDIA Expo in Sydney during May.
