Canohm, importer and distributor of Vogel’s products in Australia has announced that Vogel’s has won a Red Dot Award for the THIN 345 wall mount for ultra thin/LED screens.

Canohm, importer and distributor of Vogel’s products in Australia has announced that Vogel’s has won a Red Dot Award for the THIN 345 wall mount for ultra thin/LED screens.

The THIN 345 wall mount for ultra thin/ LED screens, introduced this year as part of Vogel’s THIN Series, has been honoured with the prestigious international award for Product Design in 2011.

The Red Dot Award is a renowned international design award that is selected by an international jury of designers and design experts. Red Dot explains,

“This year, approximately 1,700 companies from 60 countries took part with 4,433 entries in total. Ultimately, only the very best products managed to
    convince the expert jury.”

“I am very proud that we are again one of the winners of this most renowned international design award,” says Vogel’s chief executive Gerdi Vogels.

The Vogel’s THIN 345 is specially designed to make your flat screen TV look fantastic and with just 3.5 centimetres of space between the wall and the TV, the 345 mount is virtually invisible to the eye. The whole purpose of an ultra thin TV is to blend the screen into its surroundings. You can achieve this with Vogel’s new “virtually invisible” THIN Series of flat screen mounts. The THIN 345 can be turned 90 degrees to the right and left and tilted 20 degrees for the best viewing position. The Cable Inlay System (CIS) discretely conceals cables out of sight and screens can also be easily levelled after mounting with the level adjuster that’s included.
