About Origin Acoustics
Jeremy Burkhardt, Ed Hasse and Ken Humphreys, the original team that invented the in-wall speaker over three decades ago, reunited to create and launch Origin Acoustics in 2014.
Pushing the limits of technology and materials, Origin Acoustics delivers an advanced and impressive array of architectural loudspeakers ever made and is certain to force Australian custom installers to consider how they do business.
The range will be available in Australia from July 2015.
The Origin Acoustics team engineered and built audiophile-grade, high-performance in-wall/in-ceiling products in a smaller footprint design. Over 100 products were designed, each with its unique fit and purpose to offer integrators a comprehensive brand and a simplified way of doing business.

Scott Stidston joins the Synergy team
To complement the launch of Synergy Custom, and the signing of the Origin Acoustics brand, Scott Stidston has been appointed as Synergy Custom’s founding manager.
Scott has tremendous history in both the UK and Australia and has extensive experience in the hi-fi and CI markets. Working with Redline (one the UK’s leading CI distributors) and more recently with Total Q in Australia, Scott’s understanding and knowledge of custom installation is immense
Lesser known but equally important is Scott’s career at Rega Research in the UK. Rega is distributed by Synergy Audio Visual and is a world leader in turntables and hi-fi. Scott’s understanding of the design and manufacturing process gained at Rega gives him a “unique perspective” on all of Synergy’s products.
