Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) has announced the development of a KNX Gateway, in addition to its own popular 220-240V lighting control system, Omni-Bus.

The HAI KNX Gateway, HAI Part Number 97A00-1, allows Ethernet-enabled Omni and Lumina controllers to communicate with and control KNX devices installed on the network. Lighting, temperature plus energy management, and motors (window coverings, shades, shutters, etc.) are among the many KNX devices that can be controlled from an HAI interface or automatically via controller programming.

Separately, HAI has seen great success with their 29-part Omni-Bus lighting control network. Designed for the 220-240V/50Hz International marketplace, the DIN Rail style HAI Omni-Bus Lighting Control Network provides hardwired and wireless solutions. The products are broken down into four segments: Core Products (Required), Load Control Modules, Switch Interfaces, and Accessories. Products are available for control of lighting loads, fans, motors, pumps, shades, shutters, and more.

HAI will discuss these and other products during nine different trainings at Integrated Systems Europe. Courses will be held in Room D401 by HAI European manufacturer's representative Jason Moyer and HAI business development manager Thomas Pickral Jr, on 2 February 2012.

Sessions include, "Introduction to Home Automation", "HAI Installation Training", "Programming Omni/Lumina Systems with PC Access", "Home Area Networking for Smart Grids", "HAI Omni-Bus Lighting Control", "Designing/Installation of an Audio System", "Selling Home Automation", "HAI for Building Automation", and "HAI New Products".

HAI expects the KNX Gateway to be available in 2012 and Omni-Bus products are available now.
