    In its heart rests the newest 8642/8643 media processor from Sigma Designs. The Dune HD Max also comes with a built-in optical drive that can playback anything from a normal CD up to a Blu-Ray disc.

    By utilising its built-in networking functionality, the Dune HD max can connect to the local network and stream digital content from any UPNP or NAS device. With internet access you can playback and record various internet radio stations, view your favourite digital TV channels using an optional Digital USB dongle and browse the internet using Dune’s HD Max built in web browser.

    Dune HD Max delivers up to 1080p resolution through its HDMI 1.3 interface and top quality audio (Dolby True HD, DTS HD Master Audio, LPCM and FLAC). The latest HD codecs and container formats are supported including MKV and H.264. RealD format is also supported.
