Hybrid Television Services (ANZ) Pty Limited, the licensee of TiVo products in Australia and New Zealand and the creator of CASPATM On-Demand, along with Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne stores, has announced the launch of the new, limited edition, TiVo 1TB media device.

The limited edition device is branded as TiVo XL reflecting the increased capacity of the hard drive from the original 320GB size to 1TB in recording capacity. This provides customers up to 350 hours of standard definition, or 150 hours of HD recordings of their favourite free-to-air TV programs.

Recognising the increased free-to-air TV offering with the advent of digital TV – this new product provides significantly greater recording capacity to remain up-to-date with the vast variety of great TV across all of the Freeview channels.

The limited edition TiVo XL media device is currently available in selected Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne stores and is expected to be available across all of Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne stores from 12 November 2011.
