Samsung’s 2011 air conditioner range will be an expansion of the successful Max series launched in 2010. The 2011 Max Plus range will showcase five new models as well as an all new Maximus range consisting of two premium models. Across the range, Samsung’s new air conditioners feature:
HD Filtration system: helps provide a low dust environment
Good Sleep Mode II: helps ensure an optimal temperature is set to allow for the perfect night’s sleep
Waterfall airflow function: distributes air evenly throughout the room
“Our 2011 air conditioner range combines a stylish design with smart technology to deliver an effective cooling solution for all living environments. The new D’Light Mode is a reflection of the added smarts that have been incorporated into the Maximus range,” says Samsung Electronics Australia business unit manager – air conditioning Simon Coates.

Smart New D’Light Mode
Samsung’s new Maximus range aims to provide a comfortable living environment that is easy for consumers to manage. The D’Light Mode function asses the temperature and measures the humidity of a room. If required, it will modify the temperature and reduce humidity to ensure a comfortable living environment is reached. This ensures that even in uncomfortable, high-humidity weather, consumers have the ability to take control of their living environments.
Clean Air with the HD Filtration System
The Samsung Maximus range also features a HD Filtration system which leaves living rooms feeling fresh, healthy and low in dust. The system assists in reducing the amount of dust that passes through the unit’s filter and helps to lower the levels of dust particles found in the living environment.
3D Air Technology
The Maximus air conditioner range incorporates a dynamic 3D air technology which assists in evenly distributing clean air throughout the room. Providing a large 13m air throw, as well as auto vertical and horizontal air flow, consumers can feel cool air throughout the room.

Max Plus – Deluxe Range
Smart Functionalities
The 2011 Max Plus range will see the introduction of new smart functionalities such as Quiet Mode. This function provides a comfortable and soothing living environment for users, as the noise levels of the Max Plus range have been reduced since the 2010 range. On top of this, Samsung have improved the usability of the timer, that allows users to set an on and off time so that you can sit back and relax and enjoy while the cool air works to your schedule.
The Samsung Max Plus range again includes the popular Good Sleep II mode which analyses room temperature to ensure the optimal temperature is set, for the perfect sleep. The Max Plus range gradually lowers the temperature as you are falling asleep, and alters the temperature again as you wake up. It also features the unique Waterfall Airflow function which pushes air directly to the floor at a 90 degree angle to evenly distribute air throughout the house.
